Whether I had a conversation in my family, or whenever I talked to my friends, the baby lounger has always been a topic. Does it make sense? Is it worth buying one?
Let me share my honest opinion, and my experience!
It is true that it provides a cozy and secure space for babies to relax while ensuring their comfort.
Loungers are designed for supervised lounging rather than sleep, providing an area where infants can be placed during playtime or when parents require a hands-free moment.
And the point is the hands-free moment. As a mother with a newborn, you have more and more things to do, and the portability of the lounger aids parents who wish to keep their babies nearby while engaging in daily activities.
In the first few weeks, when the baby sleeps in one position, it is not a problem where they sleep, in their crib, or on the sofa. They will not roll over, or fall down from anywhere..
But, when they start to move a bit, they can easily roll over while sleeping. And this is the time when the loungers can be useful. It really gives safety till you are engaged in other activities like preparing meal, washing or doing a bit of cleaning.
